Is there a required time for vendor set up?2019-09-16T16:44:04-04:00

While there is no “required” set up time or time to arrive at the market, we suggest 6:30am as an arrival time. This typically allows sufficient time for vendor to set up and be ready for customers who shop the market.

As a vendor, is there a required time that I must stay in the market?2019-09-16T16:44:35-04:00

While we do not impose mandatory times that vendors are required to stay in the market, vendor attendance does drive the market. As a result, we strongly suggest that vendors stay until 2pm. Advertised market hours are 6:30am to 3pm which are promoted on various marketing venues and social media. This time frame is what customers see and expect when planning to attend the market. When vendors leave the market early, it hurts the market in terms of its draw and appeal to potential customers. (Please note, that this does not apply to instances of inclimate weather, personal or family emergencies, or some other unavoidable circumstance.)

What is the size of the rental spaces?2019-09-16T16:44:55-04:00

The size of rental spaces is based on 16ftx20ft. Many of the spaces within our market are actually larger, however, as a vendor, you are paying for the above size space which is to include your vehicle, tables and set up. Occupying more area than the above designated area can result in additional rental fees.

Monthly reserve spaces are held until 8am at which time management staff may elect to place daily vendors on reserved spaces. At no time should daily vendors assume they may occupy a reserved space.

Are daily spaces assigned or do I select where I set up as a daily vendor?2019-09-16T16:46:02-04:00

All daily spaces are available on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Daily spaces are not assigned as we prefer vendors select their own location in which to set up. However, all daily vendors are responsible for reading and knowing the market rules including being able to distinguish open vs reserved spaces. This includes asking management for assistance prior to setting up in order to avoid setting up on a reserve space.

As a daily vendor, where is the best place in the market to set up?2019-09-16T16:46:21-04:00

We suggest that daily vendors set up in the main field which is where KC’s Grill is located. Our philosophy behind this suggestion is based on the fact that more foot traffic occurs where amenities such as food, bathrooms and ATMs are located.

Is Saturday or Sunday the better market day?2019-09-16T16:46:42-04:00

Based on our experience and feedback from our regular vendors, Saturday often times is reported to be the better day in terms of selling merchandise. Saturdays also offer shoppers 1st opportunities at buying merchandise. Sundays, typically have higher vendor turnout, as well as an increase in the number of people who shop the market.

As a daily vendor, how can l tell if a space is reserved?2019-09-19T15:48:24-04:00

All of the spaces within the market are designated in between white metal plates. All reserve spaces will be lettered (for the row you are on) and numbered, but are further designated by a red RES which is placed at the bottom of a given plate. If you are looking at a plate that has a red RES marking, the reserve starts at that plate and continues up to the next higher numbered plate in that row. As a daily vendor, it is your responsibility to make sure you do not set up on a reserved space. If you are unsure, ask for assistance!

The best way to enjoy our market is to come with no specific expectations. While it is natural to come to a flea market with hopes of discovering various treasures, flea markets in general, operate on the concept of having an ever-changing number of vendors and merchandise. Every day or week is different in terms of what vendors will be present as well as what merchandise is available for purchase. Flea marketing is supposed to a fun activity and is based on the thrill of finding those hidden treasures!  So relax, and enjoy the fun of looking for and hopefully discovering those items you consider to be treasures!

Cash is the best and preferred method of payment. While some vendors may have the ability to accept debit/credit cards, the majority of vendors will only accept cash. Also, avoid bringing large denominations of cash such as 100 or 50 dollar bills. It is suggested that shoppers bring smaller denomination bills. There are ATM machines available on-site if you do not wish to carry your own cash.
